i've already lost track if this is my Caucatoides' 5th or 6th batch of fry (i've only had them since january). the last batch wasn't too long ago, but they were gone pretty quickly though. there were still a couple juvies from her last batch in the tank and i think they got a lot of the fry. i've got all but one of the juvies out and removed a couple swords, so i think this batch should do well. they'll be moving in a little while to another tank once i get it cleared out. here's a pic i got, if you look closely at the gravel you can see a bunch of them. i couldn't get a good pic with them up any higher.

i know, they're at it all the time. i'm going to give these fry a little while in the tank to get stronger and to give her a break, because once they're gone, the parents will be up to it again.

I want them so bad! I never see them sold here, so that only leaves me to harass you to ship me some. I promise I'll spoil them with my other cichlids.

what are the fees associated with shipping fish to canada?

here is another shot i got of momma with her fry

cool, how big is your batch? and do you have them in a community tank?

just wondering, I'm on my second spawn, two cute babies left from the first one :D

it's hard to tell how many there are, somewhere between 50-100 probably. the tank has the breeding pair, another male cauc and a female apisto steindachneri. also a siamensis and a rubbernose pleco. i originally thought the female steindachneri was a cauc, so i thought i was getting two pairs, but it's not.

Have no idea on the fees my friend. That depends on the weight of the package which shouldn't be more then 2 lbs. If its worth it(those types of cockatoos are sold for $25 here  ) i would obviously pay.
Do you have any way to calculate it online? I'm in montreal. :)
