Ok...I admit it...I've spent more time now on the dark side of the TFF page (the bottom) than in FW. However, I DO still have two FW tanks. Is it safe to feed frozen marine squid to FW fish? Just curious. I know they like mysid shrimp. Thanks. Frank

Ive fed my fish squid before, they weren't amazingly keen on it but they still ate it and it had no adverse effects.

Thanks CFC...might put a small amount in and see what happens. SH

My fronts like squid. Not the bettas so much. It is safe though, to chime in with CFC :santa:

I've fed squid before with no negative results. It was however, from a seafood selection package containing mussels and prawns as well

Well....after trying squid several times on the tank, I can make the following observations:

1) It isn't as sought after as mysid shrimp or brine shrimp

2) It is eventually completely consumed

3) No ill effects
