Bloodworms to boot!

They will munch on anything really. Brineshrimp and bloodworm are your two most commmon sold frozen food. I cant get anything else, but i know there is some more somewhere?!?! :dunno: LOL goodluck anyways

hey trevo,

Bloodworms = high in protien. Bine shrimp = ok, but theyre kinda like burgers and fries... fish junk food, and not as packed w/ nutrients. Tubiflex worms = good vitamins are usually added w/ these to help condition your fish. You can also add beef heart once in a great while, or try "chiclid Chow" cubes. Rams are omnivorous, so some spirulina flakes will work too, or "emerald entree" - its a frozen aglea plus worm frozen type food. Honey's are carnivorous, so anything high protien would be great. You could also try daphnia, or breed your own brine shrimp. give them something to chase! :hyper: lol. Petsmart, where i work (in Langley, you should come visit me sometime! ;) ) sells the kit... might be fun!

hope this helps!

i wouldnt exactly say that froze brine is like fast food....they are packed with vitamins and nutrients for the fish - the live ones generally lack nutritional value and are more of a treat/for the chase....but i could be wrong
