one cube is a little much for one bettas, when i just had my one fishie i normally defrosted the cube a little bit then pull out maybe one tweeser full,
just remember bettas don't know when to say when, so you have to be the judge of what is two much food for him.
ps you Betta will love you to pieces for giving him some frozen bloodworm
A cube is definitely too much. You should only feed them a few bloodworms once or twice a week. The rest of the time you give them a few dry betta pellets, and occasionally a cooked crushed up pea to help their digestion and guard against bloating.

I do the same as lilfishie, however i have 18 bettas altogether so my husbands community tank don't end up with much. I just defrost the cube and tweezer a few worms out for each betta.
I do as lilfishe as well.
I feed all of our tanks bloodworm.. hmm.. probably 5 days out of the week (feed tanks twice a day, night time is when they get the bloodworm).
And my betta gets around 5-7 worms. Well it depends what brand.
Hikari brand bloodworms are usually pretty small, so she might get more. And there's another kind that I'll get if I can't get hikari where the worms are much fatter so she'll get less.
I've noticed a huge size difference too in some frozen BW. We feed our adults once a week on BW but the Juvies have BW every day. Usually 5 - 7 the same as Amunet but it depends on what size they are.
