I just purchased a frontosa about 4-5" and I have him/her in a tank with a gold tiger datnoid a little bit smaller than it and an archer fish. I purchased the frontosa this past sunday and he/she has not been eating everything ends up getting spit right back out. I am not sure what the reason for this is but im thinking maybe he/she is intimidated by the datnoid? I know its not the archer fish because the frontosa actually chases the archer fish around. Maybe stress? Please help.
I just got my water tested, i do not have the numbers but everything looked fine - no nitrate, chlorine, etc. , ph levels are at about 7.5, i was told this was ok because it was in the middle for both the datnoid and the frontosa. Temp in the tank is at about 79-80.
Suggestions, advice, anything?
