i was away the weekend, when i came back one off my three frogs was just floating on the top, i no they sometimes do this so didn't take no notice.
today it's still just floating around and not going down when i get close to, i even touch it with my tongs to see if it's still alive.

i tangled some bloodworm in frount of it and it didn't take any notice of the worms.

they all been feeding well on bloodworm and frog and tadpole bites.

have notice a few empty snail shells at the bottom of my tank, so maybe it's swollowed a snail shell.

anything i can do for the frog? i do have a spare couple tanks a 10g(which has a few baaby cherry shrimp in it) and a empty 4g tank, but i don't have any heaters or filters for these yet.
should i put it in there?
the water temp's about 72 in the 10g with no heater?

also i have added a nurfin co2 recenty, the ph has dropped abit from 7.8 to about 7.2
i have 0 ammonia and nitrite and about 10-15 nitrate.

cheers for any replys

i decided to move him to the 10g tank, i've put a sponge in there thats attacted to the glass for him to rest on.

so if anyone's got any advise that would be great.

just checked on him and he's dead!

don't no y he died no marks on him he looked heathly.

just wonder if it is the frog's eating the snails, an he got one stuck.

was it floating all of the time leading up to its death?

did it look bloated at all?

yeh it's been floating the whole time,
it did look a little bloated i thought it was just fat as they have been eating well.

i've looked up bloated frogs an mine wasn't like any off the pictures i saw, he just had plump belly like he has been eating well no bigger than the frogs i have left.
