I have some of this, for help with the set up of a new tank

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WATERLIFE-Bacterlife-Filter-Boost-Bacteria-60ml-Sent-1st-Class-post-/260981007862?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Fish&hash=item3cc3ae25f6#ht_500wt_1128

On the back, it just states the amount of ML, for amount of gallons. But what I am confused about, is this amount of ADDED water, or water in the tank already?

thanks!

its not for setting up a tank!
its for cycles that have been damaged
and that's only if it really works. which is up for debate.

you would need to cycle a tank. before this could be any help!

sorry.
buy yourself some ammonia, and a good test kit. then do a normal fish-less cycle.

I used this, with a filter that had been running along side my old established filter for a few weeks...it was an emergency, my goldfish were getting way too big!

Ah, i see.

its total tank volume for dosing.
but its not filter bacteria, the blurb makes that quite clear.
it claims to be bacteria/s that will control things when a colony is damaged.

still let us know how it goes.
