It was pizza party and fusgy Bingo night- the clubs paid for the pizza and the Bingo cash prizes. And of course there was the regular auction but with 100% going to sellers.

I came home with what was lebelled six adult black venezuelanus. I have only known the black corys as schultzei, However, they were pretty large and very active. So I am not sure what they are specifically. Both venezuelanus and schultzei are Osteogaster so I am uncertain as to the proper ID.

I also came home with six Hoplisoma weitzmani.

Hoplisoma weitzmani? Oooh, you are a lucky fishkeeper.

Since I stopped breeding the Hypancistrus, 9 of my 11 tanks are planted communities. This has made it easier for me to add fish I have wanted for some time bu had no way to deal with them. Coryss were one of the fish I wanted a lot. Almost all of them came from my Club's auctions and were bred by members. I did buy 5 H. pandas online and they are doing great. they are in ia planted 29 gal. with two surviving sterbai. I keep hoping somebody will put some of them into the auctions at every meeting.

I have about 9 black corys, maybe 10 - I consider them all to be black Osteogaster schultzei. They are in my in-wall 75 gal. Other corys in that tank include 4 Hoplisoma oiapoquense, 1 giant albino Osteogaster aenea and 4 or 5 bronze ones. Finally, I have 3 or 4 LF Hoplisoma paleatum.

In the 20L in the in-wall space under the 75 above I have 10 Hoplisoma sp. (Cw111). They are wild fish that were partial payment for some of my plecos.

Finally, I have a well planted 29 that was a Q tank but which now contains up to 8 more H. oiapoquense from the same breeders as the 4 in the 75 gal. I just added the 6 new H. weitzmani to that tank.

That is the most corys I have had in a very long time. I say up to or between 2 numbers because some of them love to hide and I rarely see them all together where I can count them. Others are less hy, especyally when the food goes in and i know exactly how many I have.
