Freshwater Aquatic Worms?

I was reading up on this and a part of me is very skeptical... I would assume that if i tried to buy an aquatic worm it would end up being some crazy parasite. I looked this up because i was thinking of changing my substrate to FULL soil, but I was thinking that at some point the nutrients would be used up.... right now I have gravel :3

Would changing to soil...be a good choice for loaches...btw...

There are many beneficial worms. More often than not it's reef tanks that have these beneficial worms but there most certainly are freshwater ones as well.
