Does anyone know where I could acquire some freshwater Aegla from? They are sometimes called freshwater squat lobsters. I would love to keep/breed some of these cool guys, but can't find any suppliers in the U.K.

I don't know anywhere UK-based you can order them, but http://www.interaquaristik.de/ stock them and ship to the UK :), heard they are very good with invert deliveries to the UK.

If you order from that website, I recommend using firefox with the foxlingo add-on installed, as google languages is a bit unpredictable when it comes to the checkout.

tryyour local maidenhead aquatics i have found they are pretty good at ordering most fish even if you might have to wait 6 weeks or so for them

Thanks 3 fingers, I'll give them a try. And I couldn't live without Foxlingo, best translation service ever.

Thanks, Pip. That is always my first avenue of approach, MA often get obscure stuff for me, but not in this instance. No supplier on their books. I was hoping to find one of us who is breeding them and has some to sell. They are supposed to breed well in captivity.
