Fresh Water Shrimp.

Wile out for a "dander" round the bay beside my girlfriends house i got nosey and started lifting rocks at the waters edge. To my supprise i found LOADS of fresh water shrimp and lots of females carrying eggs.

They were up to 2cm in length, looking like mini ghost shrimp would any one know what breed they were??

Now the important part, im currently cycling a tank to keep shrimp, could i keep the ones i found???

soungs like ghost shrimp... But if you want to keep them check the laws around there. Or you could get fined.

Don't purchase them probably macrobrachium (river shrimp) if they are a nice species they are an annoyance if they are an aggressive species they are horrible little buggers that are highly voracious and oppurtunistic scavengers.
