Free To Good Home: Hygrophila Polysperma

This is also listed in the Plant Swap Thread, but as there have been no takers & I am loath to throw out the excess Hygrophila polysperma that I have, I've now created this thread.

I have 5+ big stems, with multiple roots/sprouts on it. This stuff grows like crazy.
I'd prefer to swap some for either some Riccia, Java Moss or some mosquito rasbora but I'l post a couple plants to whoever wants for nothing as I don't wanna chuck out perfectly healthy plants.

Have you tried selling them to your LFS? Some stores will give you store credit. Just an option if you have no takers here.

Good idea, hadn't really thought of that. Gotta be honest though I'd prefer to give them away as I don't think my LFS would give me that much credit for them in comparison for how much they'd charge for them. Also this hobby is expensive enough as it is, so thought I'd try to help lighten the load for someone.
Or like I said, swap them for some Riccia

Hey, do you have any of the hygro' left? I am currently growing java moss 'bushes', so can keep you in mind when they need cutting?

How do you trim this plant when it gets too big? Just snip off the top?

Ah great stuff, good to know they turned up ok.
Yeah, when it gets to long just snip either the top & plant the excess into the substrate or cut it just below where the roots are sprouting on the stem.
