I have the following in a 40g tank:

4 clown loaches [ Two are three inches, two are 5 inches and full bodied]
2 bala sharks [Both approx 4 inches]
1 moonlight Gourami [approx 5 inches]
1 pearl Gourami [approx 3-4 inches]
1 platy
1 giant danio 1 alibno zebra danio 1 zebra danio and 1 pearl danio
1 golden barb

Reason i need to get rid of these fish is because the clown and bala's need at least a 6ft tank and the rest
are too "beginner" for me. I want to move on and try other challenging fish.
Im not interested in the money i just want them to have a good home and live a happy healthy life.

Where are you located? Unfortunatly i cant take any, but it would help others :) . Also would you ship them if the shipping was payed for? :)

I live in Wales uk. I would ship them as long as i know they are going to get a tank of at least 6ft

I'd take the clowns, I've had them before up to 8" so have kept them for some time, last few died over 6 months ago now.

This isn't really helping your case as a good clown keeper, considering that clowns should live for several decades.

how do you know they weren't that age? he didn't say how long he had had them... nor did he say how old they were they were when he got them. They may have just been naturally smaller, it happens, I think you were a little hastey to point the finger there :sly:

re jayjay hes a very good fishkeeper actually!!!!!!

Different varieties of clown grow to different lengths. I made a mistake, I didn't quarantine a fish, which introduced velvet. They were over 10 years old, not full size or age I know. I have learnt from this.

So you jumping in, doesn't really help alot.

i would love the clowns if no one else can have them. i have 2 at the moment and i have been looking for a third or maybe a fourth but my reliable lfs has trouble with whitespot in the water at the moment so isn't selling them and the other lfs has one clown loach absaloutly covered in white spot. so now i have to wait :/ unless i could have one of yours :)

anything you have left i will gladly take from you if you can ship. Give it another few days and if no one comes up for them, PM me and let me know :)
