This was hard work and I didn't think I was going to be able to salvage it. This tank was sitting in a storage barn at a closed Private Zoo. They had had snakes in it for a short time. The building leaked so the inside and top got wet. I had to toss the cover, it has wood rot. I filled it with water to see if it leaked and left it that way for two weeks. No leaks but as I started cleaning it, the silicone was peeling from the corners. So I stripped it, retaped and plan to silicone it in the morning. The silicone I got was from Amazon, supposedly it seals up to 750 gallons of water. This being a 120-gallon, thought it be fine. My goal is to caulk it, let it sit two weeks to cure, then fill it with water and let it sit for another week to make sure it isn't leaking before I bring it in the house.
