Hello just joined the forum and after successfully keeping south american cichlids fancy a change, new tank new set up!
Finally bought the tank I've dreamed of for years and have decided to vier away from the known to the unknown.
African!
Here's where i'm up to!
Tank is a Fluval Profile 850, included was a fluval 205 external and also a fluval M200 Heater, i must add that i'm not impressed with the output current of the filter so am in the process of purchasing a powerhead to make up for the loss.
Added so far is 25kg of Unipac coral sand and 52 kg of ocean rock!
Cycle is over hopefully in the next 7 days so pics will be updated as the fish are added!
I've tried creating lots of hiding places for teritories as advised!
Unsure about a back ground yet, might go for black as i'm not sure on which is best for an african tank!
Oplogise for pic quality taken on my iphone!
all the rock i want to add at moment maybe after adding fish i might add more rock to prevent fighting with new stock, eventually!
