I've got 4 Endlers (all male), 4 Platys (3 Female, 1 Male, i think) and 4 Corys (????).

A couple of the Platys have got fatter recently and one of them has spent a lot of time hiding on the floor of the tank.

Last night I found a tiny baby fish (about 2.5mm long) hiding in a plant. Its the only one I can find. I only bought the plant yesterday so I'm not sure if it could've come from there? It was out of water for well over an hour so I doubt it.

I guess its a baby Platy but I would've assumed they gave birth to loads and not just one?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I would say it's one of your female platys that's given birth ;)

Agreed. Unless you want to be completly over run with the things id recommend re-homing the male and any further male fry.

Just thought it was strange to find only one?

I keep a close eye on the tank so I'm sure I would've spotted any others.

when i had platties i often found just one. Although once i did have 3 grow up which was nice

Yes, check your filter there will be more either dead or alive I'm sure
