Has anyone heard of Glossostigma?? It's an awesome looking foreground plant if done right. Does anyone know how to grow it successfully??

When I think of glosso, the first person that comes to mind now is Paulioo. He managed to create a wonderful looking tank with glosso being a carpet. If anything, he knows how to grow it.

Glosso needs a lot of light, if talking about relative to other plants. It needs c02 to flourish and needs to have a good substrate.

2+WPG, CO2, a decent substrate, proper ferts and growing Glosso is easy, grows fast, wont work to well in a sand substrate.

Yeah its fairly easy to grow providing you have the right conditions. The only hard part about having Glosso is the planting of it.

Can be quite painstaking in a large tank. The other difficulty is when it begins to over grow itself and you have to replant it all again!!!

Sounds great, I think I'll give it a go.

I've got the CO2 and an awesome substrate, I just need to make a few lighting changes.
