if my guppy starts giving birth how long does it take her to deliver all the fry?

it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days (if she doesn't have them all at once, she could have the rest a week or two later). I guess the normal time range (not that there really is one, but what most experience) is a few hours. Yesterday my guppy gave birth and it took about 5-6 hours for her to finish. Of course, she had quite a few fry (29) so the time could vary.

Well in most instances it will take most a course of a day. It also depends on how big the pregnancy is. I have had sometimes that some of my swordtails take a few hour to deliver a single baby at a time Well it all depends. Some swordtails take long because of so many babies. So just make sure you give your swordtail plenty of time to give birth. Some people take the swordtail out of the net were it is kept thinking it is done giving birth when it has not.
