I have some Albino Cory's and a Betta. At the moment I give them Tropical Flake food, which they all seem to enjoy. Some at the top for the Betta, and I let some drop to the bottom for the Cory's.

I also have Tropical Pellets, which my LFS told me the Cory's tend to eat, but my Betta doesnt take to them, and the Corys will nip at them but wont eat them since the pellets seem to big, and hard to break up.

I would like to give them something more nutritious 2-3 times a week.

For the Cory's Ive been told Shrimp Pellets are good?

And was thinking of this for the Betta?

Any good?

I've never had a betta, so i couldn't say, but my corys love their shrimp pellets. they disintegrate quickly in the water, and my corys will all crowd around them! It's quite fun to watch! :D

I agree about the shrimp pellets, my cories dearly love them. Bettas I've had in the past did prefer pellet food, such as the one you posted, but my current boy prefers flakes along with the rest of his tankmates.

Will get the Betta Pellets ordered shortly, and are these good for the Cory's as well??

I think that would depend on how large those pellets are. Shrimp pellets are large enough to sit atop the substrate. If those pellets are very small and you've got them on gravel, they may very well be lost.

I have cores , Bolivian rams and cardinals, I feed flake and tetra prima for the corys and rams. The cardinals love to catch the pellets on the way down and zip around the tank playing with them until they begin to crumble! Then it's a feeding frenzy.... .
I have begun to find out that tetra prima seems a bit tough . The rams take it no problem as do the corys however the rams seem to spit it out at least 3 or 4 times before fully digesting , I think due to it's size and granular shape.
Today I introduced new life spectrum 1mm sinking pellets and they seem to cope better and crumble quicker, the initial uptake was slow but as soon as they got a taste it was chaos! Corys and rams couldn't get enough, even the cardinals ignored the flake and hit the sand and hoovered up the debris . The key is a varied diet I give frozen bloodworm and brine shrimp about twice a week .

Cories will eat anything that gets to the bottom of the tank if they can get their mouth around it. That means that flake that the betta has missed is the first thing they will eat. Cories are largely carnivorous so a high protein food of some sort is called for and the shrimp pellets fit that requirement. The betta special foods I find a bit too much for my tastes. I have been letting my bettas eat the same high protein tropical flake as every other fish in my tank for many years and my bettas always thrive. I suspect that "betta food" is nothing more than typical tropical food packaged in tiny quantities at very high prices, but I can't prove that. Sometimes packaging is all that stands between premium foods and regular foods.
