I have 6 yellow labs, 6 maylania callainos, and one other mixed african. I got most of them when there were pretty young. they went through a phase where they started growing like crazy (especially the callainos). But now they seem to have stopped.
Currently I feed them Tetra Spirulina flakes 2 out of 3 flake feedings, and regular Tetra Tropical flakes the other third of the time. now and then i'll give them algae wafers, dried plankton, and cichlid crumbles. But I can't seem to encourage growth. They are however all very healthy, and very active.

What types/brands should I try to get the little guys growing again? thanks!

try spectrum it should be in you lfs. i don know if it will make you fish grow faster. but it is very healthy for them and will bring out the colors of you fish. i think its one of the best out there but that is just me.

Anything by Spectrum or Hikari would be highly reccommended and a bit of frozen spirinula enriched brine shrimp once in a while won't hurt. ;)

they sound as though they are getting enough food, try doubling your water change regime

gel-tek they got this gel that looks pretty amazing... they got one that encourages growth , one for color... alot of different ones, they got meds the fish actually eat...

ok im rambling, point blank look up gel-tek foods they come in a bottle and its gell, they got one for growth enhancement witch is what your looking for

disclaimer- i just started trying this product less then 2 weeks ago so im not sure if it works... but i think it will, so far i like it alot, i got like 6 bottles of it(different kinds)
