So I currently feed my cories( and all other fish in my tank) these pellets that float to the bottom of the tank to make sure all swimming levels get food.

But I don't think my cories are getting enough nutrients as 2 of them seem to be growing thinner and thinner. (they were once fat and looked like half-inflated balloons)

Please help!!

Which sinking pellets are you using?

Mine get Hikara Tropical Micro Wafers. They're small enough to be able to eat in one bite by a cory (once they've had a couple of seconds to get soggy)

Live worms can be eaten straight away also, or flakes if they get to the bottom.

The larger Hikari (5mm) wafers: the corys seem to have to suck on for 15mins or so to try and break them down. During this time they are gently pushing each other away or running away from the BN catfish...so would be concerned some corys are missing out if this is all i am putting in.

I feed them TetraMin Tropical Granules...
They seemed to be doing OK on them.

I think the 2 fat ones were females and they laid eggs somewhere and before I could find them, my pleco ate them....
