Hello and Welcome. :)

It's most likely just a bacterial bloom because your tank is not cycled yet. Dont use any products to clear the water it will clear eventually on its own. You will need test kits for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate to tell how the cycle is going and when it's finished. Plus water changes using dechlorinator to keep the ammonia to a minimum. If you have test kits now it will be helpful to post some readings.

Plus more reading on this site, you can start in the new to the hobby section and read up on cycling or do a search on cycling. there are two methods "fishless" and the less desired "with fish" which is what you are doing.

It is likely that some of your fish may die during this cycling process and it is unfortunate, but it is recommended that you do not purchase any more until the cycle is complete. This is why people use the fishless cycle method.

In extreme cases people have been known to have all there fish die while cycling, if this should happen (and i'm not trying to be mean and i hope they survive) but if they dont it would be best to carry on with the fishless cycling method.

As far as more questions go it's helpful to do a search first using keywords for what you want to know as most of what you will need to know has a topic started already.

Good luck and welcome to Fish Forums.
