Fluval U4 Opinion ?

I'm looking at getting a new internal filter and wanted to know if anyone has experience with the Fluval U4 internal filter and what they think of it?

I have 2 of them and I think they are good internal filters. what size tank have you got?

A 90 gal that just needs some extra filtration.

Only thing I'd say check the dimensions, they are big relatively bulky units, if that's not a problem, they are very good internal filters!

i agree what are your dimentions? they are 8.9 x 7.6 x 31.8cm and are rated up to 240 litres what filter do you already have?

It's a very tall tank and I already measured so size isn't a problem.

Right now I have a home made filter that's doing an ok job.

I have used Fluval internal filters before.
 
A good filter, does exactly what it says on the tin really.

ive got a very similar tank,
 
you should be looking at 2 u4's for that or go for an external filter

Yeah I will buy a second one if it turns out I really like the fist I always buy Fluval filters and have never been disappointed but always good to ask people about there experience.

something like these would be fantastic for your tank, and probably less than 2 U4's  IMO the more filtration the better!
