Fluval Profile

hi i was thinking of getting a fluval profile and wondered what everyone thought? i know its new but what is everyones first reaction?im a bit nervous of the internal filter connections?what and how does this work? thanks

Gotta say after seeing one in the flesh, I didnt like it, looks awkward as the tank slots into the cabinet and the doors are at the ends of the cabinet, so if you wanted it to fit into a space, you wouldnt be able to open the doors, of course if you have lots of room all around it, then I guess it wouldnt be a problem.

hi yeah i would have room around it so shouldnt be a problem,ive had a loads of problems trying to find a tank with a stand that looks nice,all the tanks 300l and above seem to only come in birch or beech which with dark wood and black furniture would look horrible,why do the people that make these tanks presume everyone likes the same colour!i ordered and since cancelled a juwel rio because i dont think my sideboard could take the weight and dont like the look of juwel stands,my main concern was the filter connections going in the base of profile are these reliable? also whats the black part on the profile made of?any ideas?
