I'm looking to upgrade my 70 litre marine aquarium into something around the size of 250-300 litres. Design is one of the most important things obviously with it being well built!

After having a good browse through some aquatic shops I found this;
fluval-osaka-260.jpg

The 260 litre version, it looks so good!

The only problem is the cabinet is a touch too big for the area it will be going in, if it was the same size as the tank then it would be perfect! So i'm looking for somewhere I can just buy the tank by itself and not with the cabinet. I have found one site so far and it's around £350 here http://www.paraquatics.co.uk/en-gb/dept_213.html . Does anyone here have this model for marine and could recommend this tank or something similar also with the clear sides and open top and anywhere else I can buy JUST the tank without the stand?

The stand won't be a problem as I can get that built.

Thanks!

you will need at least a 400l for the emperor angel grows very big in a shrort time so try and go as big as you can

Hi Scott, on the other thread that was just an example picture of an aqua scape I liked, that wasn't my tank with the emperor in it :lol:
I always research which fishies are ok in the tank before I go adding them.

One of the ladies on here was looking at these tanks I think. Can't remember who it was though, either Seffie, trod or Jen.

Looks like a really nice tank but I would personally go for one that isnt as tall (top to bottom) and has more depth (front to back) as its easier to scape it and will probably give better swim room for most fish.

Ah no it wasn't, it was me (so you are right Barney) when I was looking for Trod's birthday tank - it was actually Ben who first talked about them. Lovely looking tank :good:

So Jenny has just bought one has she - will go have a peek at her thread

Seffie x
