Indeed but since it packed in working I dont want someone to spend loads on it to get a dud machine but the pipes and sponges are easily worth this anyway so one way or an other the buyer is getting something decent for the price. Lol not often you see an add free filter when you buy sponges haha!!

Just to note as well - this has been listed on AQ as well and I have had a couple emails already. Will be sold on first come first served.

thanks Andy

Wills, hold off on the sale of this please, I might be able to help you fix this...

More to follow in a mo with an edit! ;)

My FX5 on the 5x2x2 semi-regularly fails to start up after any maintenance. All I had to do to get it working was to unscrew the electrics bit from the EMPTY cannister, held in place by 4 screws and then simply remove and re-assemble the impeller and cavity housing back snugly to the electrics bit, before putting the whole unit back together again!

First time this happened I panicked big time, but now it is very routine to sort out. ;)

Thanks Goat :) To be honest I would rather get it sold now at least at the moment I think its salvagable where as if I let my ham fisted mits on it I might make it worse...

replied to PM as well :)
