Does any one have one? What do you think?
I only just discovered their existence. I was doing my usual periodic browse of used sites for nano tanks when I thought I'd check if there were any black Friday adds for new ones yet. (There aren't in the UK )
But I really like my Flex 15. And they seem to have ironed out some of the silly design decisions they made with the original - stuff that many of us have worked around.
Most importantly for me
  • Hinged lid - I still have to physically remove my lid for water changes, which means all the wires to put back
  • Feeding flap - yeah I have a 3d printed one, buts its now included and is a flap, I keep dropping mine behind the tank when I remove the lid
  • Cable channels in the lid
  • Fixed the vibration. Ok can't confirm its really fixed but it was a silly design flaw and mine sometimes still vibrates
  • Spraybar in the box
  • Smaller mesh for the filter compartment. Its now 2mm - so probably won't stop shrimplets or fry but at 4mm of the existing one adult CPD were able to come and go as they pleased (3d printed covers was another add-on purchase
  • Extra filter media options. Actually I don't care about this, mine only has a sponge anyway. I would rather they invested the money on a timer for the lights ;)
Not only do they look good but maintainance is just so easy, even with the previous generation. Its a shame the branded matching cabinets are so overpriced - but I just moved 2 little oak tables that are exactly the right size into my study. Guess I may stop deleting all of the black Friday adds before I read them

I saw them pop up on Reddit and YouTube a month or two back. I'm glad they have addressed the problems of the first generation, too. I watched a review by Pecktec and was surprised by the fixes and additions added. If I ever replace my current 60L, I would consider the 15-gal model. I owned the 9-gallon 1.0 model and never had any issues apart from the pump, which I replaced with an Eheim one (less noise and smaller size). I am shocked they haven't hit the UK market yet.
