Ok, now this sounds incredibly stupid, but after thinking about what I do to change water, I'm not sure it's the right way...

What is the right way?

What I do now:
Remove water with the syphon
Then use a 2l bottle to fill it back up (Because the opening is quite small...)
First bottle, has my aqua+ in it
After that straight up tap water, until filled back up

Is it meant to all be filled back up in 1? Or should I just distribute the aqua + between each bottle?

Am I likely to cause problems for myself and the fish doing it this? (Done it this was for over 2 months...)

I know this sounds really stupid, but I can't find instruction for such things...

There are two ways to dechlorinate. You can either;

1. dechlorinate each bucket/bottle, individually, before you add it to the tank

2. add enough dechlor for the whole tank's volume, before you add your straight tap water.

Personally, I use method two for large and well established tanks (because I use a hose to refill them), and method one for small or new tanks (like my son's Edge;) ).

Yeah I add the amount in the first bottle enough to treat the whole tank... Then it's just tap water until its all done...

Phew I was just checking that my method is ok...

Only reason I do it that way, it seems a bit tedious and quite difficult to get <2ml in each 2l bottle...

Get a children's dosing syringe from the chemists (or ebay); very handy things to have :)
