I am looking to upgrade my upstairs tank. At the minute it is half a hexagon and measures 46 cm long x 25 cm deep and 31 cm high. I'm not sure how many litres it is but it used to be a cold water tank so I put a heater in it but it does not have a light in the lid which is why I wanted to upgrade it. I was looking at the fluval edge 46 litres but I feel that it is not long enough for the fish to swim and grown properly. In the tank at the minute I have 2 kribensis and 6 rummy nose tetras and I know they are active fish which is why I want to make sure that the tank is long enough to swim in and I feel the fluval edge is not long enough and need your help to find a good tank size for those fish and possibly some more.

Thanks from Tom

Ok thank you the area I have to put it on is 41cm long and 41cm deep so I think it might difficult to get a big small tank that I like but I would still like help with choosing a tank and stocking it as I really don't know what I want in my tank and would love some good suggestions from Tom

The rectangle bit in my tank is 46 cm long by 18cm deep and 32 cm high and the 2 triangle bits are 11cm long by 8 cm deep and 32 cm high and the small rectangle left is 31 cm long by 8cm deep and 32 cm high if someone could/would be kind enough to work out the volume of the tank that would be amazing from Tom

I'd say get the biggest tank you can fit haha
