Fluval Carbon Remove Medications?

Hi sorry if this is a stupid question. What is the difference between activated carbon and Carbon?

Ive had to treat my tank for white spot. Will this carbon ( https/www.dropbox.com/s/yukb93ah1n7ycg2/20141211_202333.jpg?dl=0 )
Remove medications or have i brpught the wrong one?

That is activated carbon, they've simply simplified the name. So yes, it will remove many medications from the system. Don't forget to take the carbon out when it's finished though.
