Fluval 306

Hi this is bit of a moan I have finaly put my fluval306 in tank and why have they put the intake and the out take in grotty white as it stands out and looks horrible , will have to get a tall plant to hide the out take as sits higher
apart from that yeyyyyyyy end of moan
I have left my fluvalu4 running and will for about a month to stop cycle

I don't like the new white colour but as longs as it works, I'll be happy

One thing I would do though is put the media from the U4 into the 306, it will seed it better & you shouldn't get a new cycle.

I did this with my U3, put the white foam pads at the side of the taller ones in my 206 and put the U3 ceramics in with the ceramics on the 206 and ditched the fine floss & carbon pads from the U3.

Save some electric & free up a bit of space
