Fluval 205 Filter

Hi, i have a problem with my fluval 205 external filter, the other day my electric trip out while i was at work and the filter leaked about 20 litres of water into my living room. I'm just wondering if this is a common issue with these filters or do i need a new gasket (seal)? Help...

apparently quite a few people needed new seals, if you haven't kept it greased it will leaks

what sort of grease do i buy? I'll try a new seal then. Cheers

Vaseline is meant to be good...

but any non drying greese is good
