Flowerhorn Food

ive been looking into getting some fodd directed at flowerhorn cichlids and just wondered if any one had used them? the ones im looking at are chingmix and XO, it seems not very openly available here in the UK and quite expensive when postage has been added from America and Thailand etc.

so any one use it or know where to get it in the UK?

JBL do a good Flowerhorn pellet but tbh, all it is, is cichlid pellets with lots of colouring in it. (spirulina and carotines?!) whatever enhances fish colours...

yes ive seen that but also been told that the chingmix and ocean free XO are second to none with excellent results. im not sure my FH will need a much bigger head/kok as its already huge... but the starry pellets if they work would be a decent purchase i think.

no plans to breed him im affraid. i just wanted another wet pet, i miss Keith (my oscar)..... ive always wanted a FH but never came accross a decent one anywhere and all the UK shop bought fish seem a bit drab and colourless etc compared to the Thailand equivalent. so ive gone and got an imported FH thats top quality. not cheap but for such a stunning fish its worth it i think
