I have been told that you have to breed two differnet cichlids to get the offspring of a Flowerhorn cichlid. I also have been told that Trimac, red devil, sysnpilum, carpintis, texas, and red terror (one of these combos) can have great looking Flowerhorn offspring. I was wondering if anyone had any idea and would like to help me please. I would really like to start breeding them (just of me) soon. For some reason people online won't tell me the combos to get them. If you don't want to say it over the forum I'll give you my e-mail so you can just tell me that way. Also, I have access to red devils, red terrors, and texas from my LFS. Thank you

This may be of some use?

Might get better response in hybrid section.

I know that I can get a Red Texas Flowerhorn fish from breeding a Red Devil and a Texas cichlid. But do you know how hard it is to get these fish to cross breed? And would I need to buy 3 red devils and 3 texas and see what ones pair off? I would put them in a 55G and see what ones pair off then take out the others and just have a breeding pair in a 55g. Are they able to breed at about 5 inches? Thanks
