I assume once the flower is done ill need to trim it off?

Cool. I didn't even know aquatic plants flowered at all. My anubias never flowers.

It's rare for Anubais to flower but does happen. Well done Shelster!

Just to add, I've no idea what you'd do with the flower once it's done though. I would presume trim it off but there are some plants that you leave the dead flower heads on...

Ooh, that's going to look great!

I've heard they last a while too so I wouldn't be worrying about trimming it yet :p

I guess it would be a good idea though once it's finished. I'm not sure though...

Nice!

My husband's anubia flowered within the first month of him putting it in the tank, but hasn't since. I wish mine would! Actually, I wish mine would just recover from the dreaded BBA. Maybe it will bloom when I quit messing around with it!

Mine has flowered 5 times. I trimmed two of the oldest ones but there still 3. After a month or so they start looking droopy and kinda sad but they are still interestingly beautiful.

That is great, well done, I guess you will take more pics as it comes out in full flower, or is that its full flower?

I'm not sure RCA, I would imagine it would protrude out more than it is at the moment?
Totally wasn't expecting a flower, so who knows :)

It ends up looking something like a peace lily when it's fully open.
