im about to convirt my 4x2x2 into a planted discus tank. ive worked out that the 2 eheim 2217s il be using will give me roughly 3.5xturnover which isnt exactly much for a planted tank , so im thinking about getting a circulation pump rated at 3100l per hour, which if im working it out right give around another 6.8 bringit up to about 10x.
1st is that how it works? and 2nd ive read that discus prefer calmer water, would it create too much current for them?
