Hello everyone
i recently got the jewel lido which is choca block with plants. So about a month ago i decided to buy a piece of red moor wood, it arrived two days later. Its now been floating in my fish tank for a month and it still floats, i have soaked it for ages and i have even drilled several holes through it, but it still floats. So is there any form of screw i could drill into the bottom of the wood to weigh it down that wont harm the fish or pollute the water or make the wood rot and screws rust?
anyone know?
Thanks Bradley

your best bet is to just leave it to get waterlogged which can take weeks to sink!

another option is to remove it from the tank and have it in a container full of hot water and put something on top of it to hold it down.

this will speed up the waterlogging process, after which you can put the wood in your tank... hope this helps
