floating plants

whats the best floating plant at the moment i have duck weed on the top of my tank but it dont let a lot of light through also it grows rearly fast.im looking for a floating plant that lets a lot of light through dont grow fast but dont grow slow and 1 that looks nice.any suggestions but be great thx in advance

What about salvinia natans?

i realy like riccia (Riccia Fluitans) - its got a nice texture and grows quite fast.

wat is salvinia natans like does it grow fast and does it let plenty of light through

Well it's got little 2 cm little lilly pad type shape leaves - so it would block light there. It also needs realy bright light to grow well too - i think you find it in ponds a lot.

The riccia will let more light through as it's thinner and "matts" together.
