the advice for this member started off sensible, now its just abusive. which is not pleasant at all is it?

I have to agree with you. Some people aren't born knowing everything about Bettas. And some people just don't know any better. That's no reason to treat them like an idiot

I find it hard to believe that some of you started out knowing everything. It'd be nice to politely inform someone of their mistakes instead of attacking them. I know, I've been on the recieving end from a few on more than one occasion on this board.

I'll be honest, I don't know the OP whatsoever. I also don't claim to know all that much about fish or Bettas. But I do have to say I'm fed up with the attitudes of SOME people on this entire board.

I ask a question in another section about my lobster and get attacked about my Arowana (which I don't even have yet). I ask a question on here about breeding my Bettas and get knocked like I shouldn't even be thinking about it.

I have to say, I've had enough of some of the "know it all" attitudes. I won't be posting here or anywhere on this board again.

Thanks to those that actually did help me without being judgemental. To everyone else...mind your attitude and you won't come across as an ass.

I don't think I'm assuming. The OP has been a member since August last year and has stated previously that they keep mixed sexes together. One of the most important things that people are told is NOT to keep them together. If this hasn't sunk in after 7 months then it never will until they kill each other.

Too be honest I hadn't noticed anyone having a go at you Jaiden Sometimes text doens't come across the way it is meant and that ends up with misunderstandings between people.

All I would say to Jaiden & Kewskills is, if you look back at the topic starters posts you will see that they have been keeping Bettas for at least 7 months. They have been on threads in the past concerning the keeping of bettas together and have even asked the direct question, why cant you keep them together.

If it was a complete newbie the replies may have been different, but this member has been keeping bettas longer than me, but has missed one of the fundamental rules of keeping bettas. Every thread regarding keeping bettas, as well as the pinned topics state - male bettas should not be kept together or with females unless under breeding conditions.

I was not treating this member as an idiot, but it does not seem like any advice given in the past has sunk in. Jaiden - if you have issues about previous replies to your questions you need to bring that up at the time on that thread, otherwise people dont know.

All i have done is stated my views, and I believe, due to previous threads, that the OP did know that what they were doing was asking for the reaction they got.

for a start lets take a look at the title, hmmm, how could this be miss-understood unless thats what he was expecting people to do as its quite simply a very cruel/ stupid thing to do?

Now lets read on abit.

One of the first things i learnt without using this site is that Males cant be kept together.

Im not starting an argument as thats not what im here to do, I dont claim to know everything about bettas or anyother fish for that matter. &if in some way this guy really doesnt understand and its all a missunderstanding then il say it now im sorry but i somehow very much doubt it.

Ok so maybe a few people have got arsey at u in other threads, but unfortunately this is something not all of us see, nor are involved in
