Hello

Everytime i do a water change it looks like my plants are fizzing with millions of bubbles, sometimes these bubbles also stick to the side of the glass, it takes a hour or so for them to clear and never seem to cause any harm, just wondering what is causing it?

Thanks.

Fairly sure it's the natural gasses in the water coming out of solution - CO2 etc. Nothing to worry about

Ah cool.

Are regular water changes ok for plants? i am doing them daily at the moment.

It's totally normal for the glass and plants to get air bubbles on them after you refill the tank :good: it's just air :)

A yes daily water changes are great for the plants - is the tank fairly new?

No its about 2 year old now, i have discus with some issues that's the reason behind daily changes atm.

just be careful if its a mature system and 'not' running pressurised C02 as to many frequent water changes can induce black brush algae.
