Fitting Regulators To Fire Extingusihers

I would like to know from anyone who has done so how to connect a fire extinguisher from the sharp edge to a aquamas regulator.

I'm thinking of buying the items seperatly rather than buying full system from aquamas or aquarianerversand as it will work out to be cheaper.

Yes you should be ok, i have a fire extinguisher connected to a dennerle reg, almost all regs and refillable co2 cylinders including fire extinguishers have the same size thread

My extinguisher from the sharp edge should be arriving this week, and I understand that it will connect fine. The only issue will be the trigger release on th extinguisher, which I will hav to cable-tie open I guess.

yes thats how my trigger on my extinguisher is held down, with a cable tie works perfect,
