Nice collection of fish .
I love gudgeons .

The Apisto could be "Macmasteri" , try and Google it

lol,

i just checked back on the pics...really sorry for poor quality

hey nice pictures lee.

just to help out on the appisto search they are-

Appisto Veijita DOUBLE RED II that is exactly how they were on the suppliers list.

how about a full tank shot!!

heya

I think i have the Macmasteri appistos,
as on google i found this one and it is almost exactly like my male, just a little bit stronger colours..

i would do a full tank shot, the only problem is that the front of the tank the plants havnt matured yet so it looks a bit bare

i appologise again for the quality,

and paul...i thought the double reds was a very bright type of appisto, but mine look quite dull...

I reakon the double red factor will come through eventually but yours are still quite young. The male still in the shop is getitng quite colourful now. Make sure they get plenty of froozen foods. As there in with the discus they get fed about 2-3 times a days with artemia or bloodworm.

and they are viejitas not Macmasteri, i thought i would look both up anyways to check and looking at the 2 now in my book there is a lot of difference. They are viejitas the macmasteri don't have mearly enough red in the tail to be a viejita.

You may need to turn your heater up a few notches to get there full colour as they prefer it in the 80's.

kewl, ill try that wehn i get home

only problem is my fish only get fed once a day, is it advisable to get an auto feeder? as i heard that clowns are meant to be fed 3 times a day too.

just try and put some froozen in before work aswell.

i don't think you can use a auto feeder with froozen foods!!
