Just a note to say hi to you lads and lasses on this forum. I dont have an aquarium at the minute, but have been pursuaded (by reading posts in the oddballs) to set up a tropical tank (i really like the look of those Dwarf Puffers :D ). I think I have grasped the basics, such as the nitrogen cycle, so now all I need is some money ;)

Prepare to be assaulted by a barrage of daft newbie messages  ;)

Welcome to the forum Brunnen-G! I congratulate you on researching first, then buying supplies later. It's the best(and not always taken) move to prevent wasting money and fishes lives. I hope all works out for you and you gain as much knowlegde as possible. :D

Hi Brunnen-G :)

I'm glad you will be joining us.

Heya, welcome to the forums. :) Lack of moeny is probably the most frustrating thing about fishkeeping, hope you overcome it!

Thanks to you all for the welcome, it is appreciated. Can I just check one thing though? This smilie here; He is giving me the thumbs up is'nt he, rather than giving me the finger

Hi Brunnen-G That is the right thinkg to do is reasearch before you plunge right in and buy the fish before you know anything about them...I am sure if you take up the new hobbie of fish keeping you will love it as much as we all do here...It is a great hobbie to Start I went all out with my fish keeping I have close to 15 tanks now and I just go me a new 180 gallon tank..I plan on keeping fish till the day I die now...I wouldnt have it any other way....
