What do poeple think about the fish food vs ammonia method of fishless cycling...?

It will work as OldMan47 stated anything rotting will produce ammonia though personally I (and i'd suspect many others on the forum) found it easier to use ammonia as you can chart progress in terms of PPM processing far easier with a plastic syringe or dropper and ammonia.
