Fishless Cycling, No Change In Ammonia In 2 Months

It was only meant to be a week. I'm the one that dubbed it the qualifying week. We were seeing a lot of cases where the fishless cycler would reach their very first "double-zero" at 12 hours and would then immediately perform the water change and get fish but then they would sometimes get a mini-cycle. We found that the "qualifying week" was very good at sorting out these problems. It was never meant to be a strict week but just the rest of the days until a good weekend when you could do the big water change (hopefully more than half a week though!)
