Fishless Cycle & Cloudy Water

Last night i filled my new 190l tank with substrate and gravel bottom. I filled it via a hose through the filter as instructed in the manual. However 24 hours later it is still cloudier than i thought it would be. I added the correct amount of tap safe and left it at that. Any ideas or am i being to picky whilst i complete my fishless cycle.

It is probably just the substrate and just needs more time to settle. It can take days but it will eventually clear.

Exactly. If you didnt rinse the gravel then it's prob the little bit of grime that was on the gravel. It's not the best for the fish, but when your done with cycling, the almost complete water change will remove most of the grime and therefore no effect on your stock
