Hey everyone!

I just wanted to share with you a few pictures of my new platy fry!....She had 36 in total but she ate one...so i have 35 healthy babies ....not one of them is showing any sign of birth defects .....I am so happy....I had to go out and buy a 10 gallon tank to house them and my guppy fry....I just wanted to share these pictures with you

This is a picture of the whole breeding trap...I know they are not well liked...but they work for me...and the mother is happily swimming in the main tank again

This picture let you se them a little bit better....these are the best fry pictures i have taken

I hope you have enjoyed looking at these pictures....i am sure there will be more to come as i watch them grow

That is really cool great pics and congratulations on the fry it will be a fun experience watching them grow. I currently have a pregnant mollie she has been pregnant for about a week.

hey i just had sunset platy fry less than a week ago!!!! only had 6 tho!!! i think some got eaten in my main tank as i have danio's and a siamese fighter so they properbly had a midnight feast.

i just came to look in my tank and hey i got more fry....... white platy fry!!!!! 4 so far but i seen more..... must of been the new food i been feeding them [TETRAMIN CRISPS] they love em!!!

hmmm feel another tank buying sess going on!!!! i could use the ones @ college seen as they are empty

Congrats! Be sure to do lots of water changes on the new tank to keep the babies healthy and happy!

Polarbear I will be doing weekly changes to help ensure that my little guys grow up big and strong (and fast!)....I need to buy a heater though because my heat lamp gets shut off at night time and the water temp drops by about 10 degrees! Yikes!!!!I have to run out and pick one up today

Great pictures and good luck with the fry. I have 10-12 juvie swords in my main tank and about 60-70 smaller fry in the grow-out right now and both my females are getting close to birthing any day now just hope I can find a cheap used tank to house them in or they are going to end up as snacks.
