Hey everyone
I'm just wondering if I have to many fish in my 4 foot tank
I have to many to name but all up I have about 35 fish.
Any help would be great.

to tell you that we need to know the names im afraid as we need to know what fish they are as if you hadd 35 neon tetra you would be fine but if you had 35 goldfish you wouldnt be fine

That would also depend on the tank's capacity.

so thats 200 litres thes fish need to be rhomed as they get to big in the red
and the ones in green probablt get to big but get a second opinion

Yes I'd have to agree that it's overstocked. At the very least, get those clown loaches a suitable enclosure or rehome them. The BGK gets too large, and what cichlids are those? Can you post a pic so we can identify them?

Generally speaking it's not good to house african cichlids with south american cichlids. Those sharks should be 1 to a tank as they are very territorial and will likely kill each other.

Also those guppies will get eaten with the cichlids around.

I have had no problems with any of my cichlids being nasty to any of my fish...the only ones that are is the red tail shark but they still get along alrite...I've had the baby guppys in the tank ever sice they were big enough and I haven't lost any thing...I will get som photos of my unkown ones cos I'd like to no what they are

You are over stocked. You've got a lot of big fish in there and 200 litres isn't all that big. You've also got a good few fish that shouldn't be housed together and require different water perameters.

5 clown loachs - can get to 18 inches each

2 green terrors - get to 8 inches or so

4 unknown cichlids - how big?

2 redtailed sharks - can get to 10 inches, although most get to about 6. Very terriatorial and should not be kept with other sharks

2 albino sharks - ditto

1 cat - what kind? What does it look like? How big?

1 bgkf - can get to 20 inches

200 litres = 44 UK gallons

You'll have at LEAST 100 inches of fish in there when they are all grown up, and that is a super conservative estimate and doesn't take into account the smaller fish.

Go onto a search engine and read 3-4 care sheets/species profiles for each fish. Find out what the recommendations are and either get a new tank or rehome some.

Even if all is peaceful now, aggression could break out at any time.
