fish!

i was wondering what type of fish are easiest to keep e.g livebearers. My next door neighbour has live bearers but i think they're kind of boring fish.So are they the easiest fish to keep or is their any other types (i quite like catfish and cichlids myself)

Livebearers definitely are up there on the easy-to-keep list. There are also other types of fish though, such as Danios, Bettas, etc. If you like catfish you could get some cories - they are pretty easy and a JOY to watch. Also, if you had a big enough tank and got the right species, you could get a pleco.. they are also an interesting and pretty hardy type of catfish. Cichlids are definitely more demanding, they require different types of water conditions than other fish, are territorial and often aggressive, and need a lot of space.

I have to say either Platies, Danios or Cories, as these are the fish I have had since me starting out and have never had any problems with them..
