Fish Type?

I'm thinking of adding one fish to my tank. I was either thinking a platy or molly. I want more colors in my tank so I want a colorful fish. I was looking at the blue platies or one of the speckled mollies. I definitely do not want a solid colored fish. ANy pictures would also help. Thanks!

Hmm, I'm not sure, I really like dalmation mollies, maybe you can get one of those?

i have two dalmation mollies and they have great charecter(sp) mollies are my fave so i would deffo sujest u get a mollie

Ive some nice orange/yellow mickey mouse platies.great for colour and not shy

Yea I have two MM platies. I was still thinking of a blue platy though.

I really like some of the blue platies that I see pictures of but have not seen any that nice in person. On the other hand some nice mollies exist that are a single color. I really like the looks of this girl that I got at my local big box fish store.

As you can tell from the picture, she is not a major threat to her fry either. The fry in the picture had been with her from birth and were 18 days old in the picture.

I do like the dalmatian mollys have not got any myself but do like them.

Another suggestion I could make and I can't find the original picture to post here but look at locker's (my son's) post here with the hawian platys:

They have good colour and are very placid.

I have a tuxedo platy, they're really nice too! he's orange and black

The molly color is called creamsicle. She is also a lyretail but the lyre is not as good on her as some I have seen.
